I'll run 26.2 miles to help keep families close at Ronald McDonald House
On Oct. 13, I will represent Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) at the 2019 Bank of America Chicago Marathon! As a longtime volunteer at Kansas City's Ronald McDonald Houses and a returning member of Team RMHC, I will be training, fundraising and ultimately running 26.2 miles to help keep families together.
Did you know $25 can provide dinner for a family and $80 can give a family a room for a night?
Your donation, of any amount, will not only help me achieve my goal, but will help kids being treated at Children's Mercy and other hospitals stay close to their families when they need it most!
I'll ride 100+ miles to help find cures for those living with MS
In my 8 years of riding Bike MS, I've been a Team Captain, local board member and planning committee volunteer - even an emcee & auctioneer at the MS Society gala! - but most important I've met countless inspiring people living with MS.
I support Bike MS: Kansas City because I want to do something for the people who have been diagnosed - and because I want to help prevent more people from having to learn what it means to live with this disease.
Today, there is no cure for multiple sclerosis, and with diagnosis occurring most frequently between the ages of 20 and 50, many individuals face a lifetime filled with unpredictability.
THANK YOU for your generous support!
Jake and Joan had a ton of fun participating in "Dine & Dance With The Stars" and they finished third in total fundraising!
Thanks to you, Jake & Joan exceeded their $30,000 goal, raising $34,850 for BMA Foundation and Noah's Bandage Project, and the event raised more than $300,000!!
